Made out of cotton and polyester this fabric is just plain fun! I used wooden buttons for the back and brown trim at the bottom. This top would make one cute maternity top.It looks so much better on then it looks on my manikin. Measurements: from shoulder to hem is 27 1/2 across the front from under arm to under arm is 20in across the back is 20 in. The fabric has been pre-washed to prevent shrinkage.I have also serged, straight stitched, and top stitched. The top is coming from a non smoking home. I love the way this top turned out. It has all sorts of greens, blues and browns in the Seminole patchwork that I used for the bodice. Bordering that is a fine wale dark brown corduroy. For the apron I used a green and tan bamboo print fabric with corduroy accents, with a pretty brown butterfly applique in the middle of it. This super cute top uses one of my favorite fabrics of all time as it's main theme. The main color is olive green in two different shades with little cobalt blue flowers all over. I really like to make these tops, and I haven't done one in awhile... so what better time than now, right? I made the front layer with all sorts of random patches of brown cottons, ant the two layers below that are made of a somewhat contrasting brown cotton that looks like fractals at first glance, but it's actually a pretty floral print. The bodice is fully lined and is made of a "diagonal wale" corduroy... I don't know if it's actually considered corduroy, but that's where I found it in the store, so I'll just call it that. I had this wonderful fire colored fabric stashed away for awhile and I finally decided to make a cute little top out of it. For some reason the pattern on it reminds me of the game "Tetris"... I made this top extra long so you can wear a skirt or a pair of jeans under it ~ dress up or dress down, ya know? This top reminds me of the fresh green that comes out of the ground and blooms high in the trees in the early spring. I used three brighter green cotton fabrics for the seminole patchwork across the lined bodice. This apron top is one of my favorites that I have ever made. I love the green and brown combination in the random patchwork on the flowing part of the top. I added in some of the scraps of some of my all-time favorite fabrics, including fish, elephants and mushrooms. The bodice is made from a really interesting medium/wide wale corduroy that is dark brown on the top and a rich plum color behind it. On the front I stitched and applique of an eight petal flower in three different, mellow prints. The bodice also has darts for comfort and support and a stash pocket on the inside.

This is another top that is completely out of season for us in the great white north, but summer IS just around the corner... I promise! This flowy part of this apron top is made of a bunch of random patchwork in all sorts of purple cotton fabrics.
